On January 13th, with the topic of “ Growth, Linking, Sharing”,the first “Heart Linking” Alumni Sharing Conference was held by the Faculty of Psychology of Beijing Normal Universityat the JingshiHotel Conference. ChenGuangju, the Vice President of Alumni Association of Beijing Normal University,ShenJiliang , the Inspector of the Department of National Textbook of the Ministry of Education, QiaoZhihong , Party Secretary of the Faculty of Psychology, ProfessorLiu Jia, the first Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, HongShihong, the Senior Partner of Longan Law Firm, SheXianjun, the director of the marketing department of CCTV Advertising Center, LiuXiaoya, the former senior editor of the China Youth Daily have been present the conference, and nearly 200 faculty and students have attended as well. The meeting was preside over byQiaoZhihong, Party Secretary of the Faculty of Psychology.

On behalf of the Alumni Association Office of Beijing Normal University, Chen Guangju expressed his affirmation of the success of the“Heart Linking”Alumni Sharing Conferenceand extended a warm welcome to the guests.

With the theme of “Education should start from psychology”, Shen Jiliangelaborated that psychology has played the significant role in the field of education and hoped that the Faculty of Psychology can give full play in the elementary education reform.

Starting from the Hit show“Super Brain”, ProfessorLiu Jia, the first Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, shared the various possibilities of psychology application.In recent years, the faculty has won many awards in the“China-USYoung Maker Competition”, in which demonstrates that the products needs to be human-oriented, and psychology will play an important role in various industries in the future.

Hong Shihong, the Senior Partner of Longan Law Firm, recalled the past events when he arrived at the Faculty of Psychology of Beijing Normal University 30 years ago and shared the positive influence of learning psychology on his personal growth and writing articles.

She Xianjun, the director of the marketing department of CCTV Advertising Center, firstly recollected the unforgettable memories and figured that the efforts of psychologists are indispensable whether in the application of addiction, or the prevention and resolution of crisis situations, and expected that more graduateswill participate in the marketresearch.

LuXiaoya, the former senior editor of the China Youth Daily, shared how psychology can help her enrich the retirement life with the topic“Slash OldAge”.

During the sub-forum in the afternoon, leaded by the convenersTian Baowei and Qiao Zhihong of the “Psychological Health and Mental Health”, She Xianjun andXu Jianping of the “Industrial, Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management”, Fan Yuwei andLiu Wei of “User Experience and Engineering Psychology”, Chen Xiao and Xu Xiaoyong of the“Investment and Entrepreneurship Psychology”, the guests shared their experiences in their industries.

After the sub-forums, the alumni returned to the main forum and reported the summary. QiaoZhihong summarized and appreciated all the alumni who concerned about the development of the Faculty of Psychology and hoped that there will be more patterns to connect alumni in the future whichdefinitely will contribute to the development of the psychology.
