The Master of Applied Psychology (MAP)Program at Beijing Normal University is one of the most well-established, influential, and distinguished MAP programs in all of China. Our program is dedicated to training potential high-level psychological talents with a global vision and social responsibility.
The two-year master’s program is designed for psychological professionals who are motivated to contribute addressing real-world problems in a number of fields. The core curriculum of our program is grounded in psychological fundamentals, and rounded out by a distinct selection of electives. Many resources are available to help graduate students thrive academically and enhance the application of psychology theory.
MAP Program is one of programs in MAP Education Center which was formed by the Psychology Department in 2014. There are seven full-time staff who have abundant management experience. It is the pioneer to enroll students majoring in Master of Applied Psychology in 2011 and has a record of 623 graduates in 2018. After five years of development and government support, according to a recent survey, the MAP graduates have also become increasingly visible and ranked the first in China for its research teaching and academic reputation. Fueled by the groundbreaking work of our faculty, MAP program provides the largest training base for applied psychology talents. Moreover, our program has cultivated a supportive and flexible environment that facilitates students’ innovative thinking and practical activities.
